Oxidation reaction
During the production process, the silicone tube may be exposed to oxygen. Oxygen reacts with the silicone in the inner layer of the silicone tube to produce silicone oxide. Silicone oxide is a white solid that will cause the inside of the silicone tube to turn white.
Moisture intrusion
During storage or use, the silicone tube may be invaded by moisture. Moisture reacts with the silicone in the inner layer of the silicone tube to hydrolyze to produce silicic acid and hydroxide. Both silicic acid and hydroxide are white solids. So it will cause the inside of the silicone tube to turn white.
Excessive temperature
When the silicone tube is used in a high temperature environment, it may turn white inside due to the influence of high temperature.
Precipitation of fillers
The fillers in the silicone tube may precipitate for various reasons to form white particles. These white particles will cause the inside of the silicone tube to turn white.
Quality problems
Silicone tube products may have quality problems. For example, impure raw materials and unreasonable manufacturing processes can cause the inside of the silicone tube to turn white.
Ultraviolet radiation
When the silicone tube is exposed to ultraviolet light for a long time, it may undergo degradation reactions and produce white degradation products. These degradation products will cause the inside of the silicone tube to turn white.
